We past an army convoy last week. It was miles long and I waved to almost every single vehicle. I only missed a few because I would be obstructing GG's driving. I had tears in my eyes. Some of those young men didn't look old enough to be out of high school. It made my stomach drop to think they could be deployed to Iraq or Afghanistan at any time.
Your post reminded me of them. I'll be thinking about those faces for a very long time. So I had my thanks and my prayers that they all are home with their families and safe.
*eye roll* "passed" an army convoy, not past. Oy!
